Global Hot Spot: The Sun into Aries Equinox and the Aries New Moon on March 20 – 21, 2023

Peter Caddy – one of the three people who began the Findhorn Garden & Foundation in Northern Scotland in 1962 – was born on March 20, 1917. This is too short a space to do justice to Peter, but suffice it to say he was born with the Moon conjunct Uranus & Vesta in the universal air sign Aquarius, 6 celestial bodies (including Venus, Mercury, Mars, Chiron, Eris and Sun in Pisces), plus Jupiter in the first earth sign of Taurus trine to the Mother Earth planet Ceres in Virgo. Along with his higher-destiny point the North Lunar Node in Capricorn, he – along with his wife Eileen Caddy and their friend Dorothy Maclean – began growing enormous vegetables in the sandy soils of Scotland in the 1960s. This drew the attention of the whole world including entrepreneur and economist Paul Hawken who then wrote The Magic of Findhorn – popularizing Findhorn as a kind of New Age Shangri-La. (I was a member of Findhorn from 1976 to 1979, was friends especially with Eileen and Peter, and I recommend your reading Peter’s autobiography – In Perfect Timing: Memoirs of a Man for the New Millennium.)

Dateline March 19, 2023: For those of you who are now enjoying the Astrology Cosmic Kalendar App one day at a time – but who have not yet subscribed to be able to look several weeks into the future – here are the calendar entries for the very potent Equinox (Sun enters Aries) and New Moon in Aries on March 20 and March 21. Because every day – beyond the current 24 hours that we define as one rotation of our celestial orb on its axis – has astro-zodiacal magic, mystery and wonder is why thousands of people around the world have been tuning into the Astrological Cosmic Kalendar for the last 41 years and since it was at the heart-center of our Welcome to Planet Earth pioneering astrology newspaper/magazine during the 1980s and 1990s.

The main reasons this Equinox and Aries Moon — energizing 0+ degrees of Aries— are extra significant are due to Jupiter in Aries and Saturn in Pisces making a powerful, semi-square aspect of 45-degrees, Pluto entering Aquarius on Wednesday March 23 for the first time in 246 years since 1777, and Mars leaving Gemini for Cancer on March 25 after spending many months in airy Gemini since August 20, 2022.

Plus, I was on both The Leak Project with Rex Bear on YouTube on March 6 and then on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory on “Pi Day” March 14 and shared on both programs that I see this coming time-period from March 20 to March 25 as a deeply-profound and potentially revolutionary Equinox Week – not merely a day.

You can read more about the Equinox and the Aries New Moon in the two calendar entries below. Please consider the merits of subscribing to the Astrology Cosmic Kalendar App to strengthen your already developing skills as a seer who can tune into the future ahead of time.

Future Cosmic Kalendar Entries for Monday March 20 and Tuesday March 21 (All times are listed in PST.)

Monday March 20 The Spring Equinox for the Northern Hemisphere and the Fall Equinox for the Southern Hemisphere begin at 2:26pm. This is one of the four sacred turning-points of the spiritual year and now this day is known as International Astrology Day. Just before the Sun morphs from water-accentuated Pisces to fire-stimulated Aries, the Moon in Pisces makes a supportive, 60-degree alliance with intuition-energizing Uranus in Taurus (10:35am) while the Sun in Pisces forms the same liaison with guardian of top-secrets Pluto in Capricorn (1:13pm). Since the next New Moon manifests tomorrow at 10:24am, we are bathed in the dark-of-the-moon, Balsamic Phase until that solar-lunar convergence takes place at 1 degree Aries. Be aware that winged Mercury is now moving at a top-speed of 2 degrees of the zodiac per day for the next week and which can enhance communications and literary endeavors. Keep your spiritual diary close at hand overnight to record out-of-the-body journeys in the astral realm and beyond as the Moon makes its monthly conjunction with Neptune in Pisces at 1:21am on Tuesday. [Note to readers: All times are calculated for Pacific Daylight Time. Be sure to adjust all times according to your own local time so the alignments noted above will be exact for your location.]

Tuesday March 21 While yesterday opened a three-month season of empowerment in both hemispheres, it’s fairly rare for a New Moon to occur and that’s exactly what happens at 1 degree Aries (10:24am). However, the universe is very busy in the 10+ hours before that moment as the Sun in Aries makes its annual polarity to maternal Ceres in Libra (12:39am), the Moon in Pisces joins forces with dream-weaver and visionary Neptune (1:21am), Jupiter in Aries forms a tense, 45-degree link with Saturn in Pisces (2:27am), the Moon squares Mars in Gemini (5:56am) and forms a supportive, 60-degree link to Pluto in Capricorn (8:59am). The Moon-Pluto contact creates a 3-minute void that leads to the lunar orb entering fiery Aries at 9:02am. Before the potent New Moon takes hold at 10:24am with a forward-moving momentum for the next four weeks, Venus and Juno come together increasing love vibrations at 9:30am and activating 6 degrees of Taurus while the Moon in Aries forms its monthly polarity to Ceres in Libra (9:36am). The Moon and Mercury unite at 6:35pm offering earthlings a boost for high-level thinking while surprises can easily pop up due to the Sun making an abrasive, 45-degree aspect with Uranus in Taurus (10:45pm). On the horizon is Pluto making one of its many entries into Aquarius in the next two years — the first one occurring this Thursday at 5:14am. Plus, Mars — which has been in Gemini since August 20, 2022 — is about to dive into cardinal-water Cancer this Saturday at 4:46am. Serenity Now – a favorite aphorism from the Seinfeld TV show – is in sync with what this week is evoking throughout the psychic atmosphere of humanity. [Note to readers: All times are calculated for Pacific Daylight Time. Be sure to adjust all times according to your own local time so the alignments noted above will be exact for your location.]
