The main reason this New Moon — energizing 3 degrees of Libra — is extra significant is because the important asteroid Juno in Pisces is very close to the Ascendant as calculated in the horoscope for Washington, D.C. In addition, Juno will also be rising for the USA at the next Full Moon on October 9 when the Sun is in Libra and the Moon is in Aries.

Juno in Pisces and Pallas Athena in Cancer are almost precisely trine at the Libra New Moon and while most trine alignments of 120-degrees are considerable “favorable,” this particular link-up could still contain some challenging vibrations. Therefore, the events in and around the solar-lunar convergence will provide the answer of whether this Juno-Pallas Athena interaction is resourceful or detrimental.

What can put you on the defensive are two tense, 135-degree aspects — the Sun-Uranus (8:24am) happening early and the Sun-Saturn (11:27pm) happening late.
